Projects
Imagine hiring a new person and having them be able to ask whatever questions they want to a project that started 3 years before they got hired, or writing new documentation based on all the calls from one project, or having engineering standups automatically update a brief for a PM to read first thing in the morning.
Projects and the automatic project briefs are a killer concept, taking on one of the most time-consuming operational jobs we often have to do: keeping everyone up-to-date and keeping documentation up-to-date around a project (e.g., deadlines, blockers, updates, changes).
  1. To create a new project, just click on the + next to "Projects" on the left-hand side, give it a title and a detailed description, then pick the tag and who you want to access.
  2. Then update the brief by adding any new calls via the tag associated with the project. The brief will automatically update.
  3. You can share the brief itself or copy it somewhere else if you like. Always up-to-date, always available.
We encourage you to create projects for things like all user research, discovery calls, onboarding, sales, team standups, and other topics and projects that most teams have (as well as individual projects of course).
New:
  • Keyword Search: We’ve added a keyword search feature to call filtering, making it easier for you to find specific calls.
  • Customer Creation: You can now create a customer from the ‘Assign Speaker’ flow, simplifying the process of adding new customers to your database.
Improved:
  • We’ve also completely rebuilt our video processing to increase the speed at which you have access to videos after calls. We've also added chunk uploading to v3, leading to faster uploads and larger upload size support.
  • Real-time Call Updates: Fixed an issue where calls would not update in real-time on the call page.
  • Call Page and Sidebar: We’ve introduced a new sidebar and a dedicated call page to showcase all your calls in a full-width grid for a better viewing experience.
  • People Section Design: We’ve updated the design of the ‘People’ section, offering a side-by-side view to browse the list of people and open their profile view.
  • Account Dropdown Design: The design of the account dropdown has been updated for a cleaner, more user-friendly interface.
  • Desktop App Access: You can now download the desktop app from the account dropdown if you’re using the web app.
Bug Fixes:
  • We've identified the issue with some users only sometimes getting a recorder on their calls and some transcripts not processing after a while. We have shipped a fix for this, so if you continue to see recorders not showing up on calls or transcripts not processing after a while, please let us know.
  • Call Page Loading: Fixed a bug where the call page would sometimes display ‘Call not found’ before eventually loading the call.
  • Avatar Component: Fixed an issue where the avatar component would render blank. They now render a ( ? ) if a name is not provided.
  • Video Playback: Fixed an issue where video would not play during the speaker assignment flow.
